  Toolbox 2: Development of an ICT-Enhanced Program
 
The purpose of this Toolbox is to ensure that any consideration and formulation of an ICT enhanced program to advance educational development is made in a systematic fashion and after extensive analysis and deliberation, taking into consideration the national and educational goals and situations mapped in Toolbox 1 and the potential and inherent characteristics of ICTs for education outlined in the Reference Handbook.


The Toolbox consists of two process tools:

  • Tool 2.1 guides planners through a methodical process of identifying priority areas that are appropriate candidates for ICT-enhanced intervention.
  • Tool 2.2 provides a step-by-step guide for the formulation of an ICT policy program that best addresses the priority areas identified in Tool 2.1.
