  Tool 4.1 ICT-Enhanced Content Requirements

The purpose of this Tool is to assist educational authorities in planning for the the ICT-enhanced content requirements of the ICT Program formulated in Tool 2.2. ICT-enhanced content includes:

  • Audio/radio programs
  • Video/TV programs
  • Computers-related and web-related multimedia programs

The list changes as new technologies are introduced and applied to the development of teaching and learning materials.

Additionally, this Tool assists planners in the process of considering the following questions for each of the above categories:

1. What are learning and instructional purposes of ICT-enhanced content?
2. Should ICT-enhanced content be acquired as is, acquired and adapted, or created?

  Important:

The facilitation Team will need the assistance of specialists in the different characteristics of the needed ICT-enhanced content, such as curricular content, media type, pedagogy and instructional design, as it proceeds in applying this Tool.

The most efficient way is to authorize the experts to access the Tool and apply it as necessary. If this is not feasible, then the Team may download the Print-based Forms and send them to the designated experts as email attachment.
