The purpose of this Tool is to assist educational authorities in planning for orientation and training of educational personnel involved in the ICTPolicy Program formulated in Tool 2.2. Three types of personnel are considered in this tool:
- Central or regional managers and advisers (who influence the implementation of the ICT Project) including heads of departments, education officers, supervisors and others;
- Administrators of institutions where the ICT Project will be implemented (e.g. schools, telecenters, universities, etc);
- Teachers, facilitators, and technicians in institutions where the ICT Project will be implemented
This tool does NOT address:
To be able to use this Tool, you should have completed List of Titles of Program's Geographic Areas and Institutions in Tool 2.2
- Professional development of teachers through the use of ICT. Teacher professional development may be one of the education priority areas identified in Toolkit 1 and should be treated as an element in the ICT Scenario in Toolbox 4.
